HMB MEGA CAPS dietary supplement in capsule – contains β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate calcium. HMB (beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) is a metabolite of the branched amino acid: “Leucine” and is also found in the food chain. (Some plants and plant products, such as corn cobs, fish and grapefruit.) HMB decreases protein breakdown due to intensive exercise, which limits the destruction of muscle cells. It thus minimizes muscle damage, repairs and strengthens the cell membrane, thereby stimulating the development of new muscles. Among other things, this role of protection and anti-catabolism during efforts, it also accelerates muscle growth during the rest phases. This molecule was discovered by Dr. Steve Nissen who patented the molecule as a dietary supplement, or numerous scientific studies subsequently confirmed his hypothesis.
