Properties/Benefits: Evening primrose is a plant with bright yellow flowers. The oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds. The flowers only open at night to attract pollinating insects, hence its name night beauty. It is an excellent emollient, soft and moisturizing. This soothing oil creates a protective barrier on the skin and helps preserve its hydration. The skin retains its elasticity and suppleness. It is relatively light and is absorbed fairly quickly by the skin, without the skin being too greasy.
Directions for use: In skincare: Organic evening primrose oil is an excellent body moisturizer. It can also be used as a facial cleanser and make-up remover.
In hair care: Evening primrose is an excellent hair care. Prepare a nourishing mask by mixing it with coconut oil and rosemary essential oil. Massage over the entire hair and leave for about 30 minutes to see the results.
